Hi, I'm Ava's mom! In September of 2009 we decided to move to Italy for three months to have an adventure and live a dream! Having lived in Italy briefly during my college years, I fell in love with the people and the country. Many years later the opportunity arose to see what living abroad would be like with a 3 year old. Obviously, the experience was drastically different than my previous time in Italy, but we had the time of our lives!!! Having started this blog to keep in contact with friends and family the title was "3 in Italy: My daughter is Ava, she is 3 years old, and we're moving to Italy for 3 months" Now, having returned to America for a while, and Ava is another year older, we're doing it again! This is the story of a new kind of 3 in Italy!
